Strategic Challenge
This organisation transformed to a full Functional Organization and went through a significant strategic change. One of the strategic objectives was to speed up and ensure sustainable and consistent product innovation delivery.
Assignment
Review and optimise the 'product innovation delivery' design in line with vision & strategy.
Coach the Innovation Portfolio Leader and the respective Project Managers in effective and efficient product innovation delivery.
Approach
1. Reviewed and assessed the innovation way-of-working on the strategic, tactical and operational level.
2. Identified strengths and weaknesses, unclarities, inconsistencies and flaws, in relation to the desired vision and strategy.
3. Developed, in co-creation with the involved stakeholders, an Innovation Operating System (IOS) to sustainably optimise 'product innovation delivery'.
4. Implemented this IOS system:
Cross-functional with the respective stakeholders
Functional in the departments New Product Development, Strategic Marketing and Sales.

Higher engagement: every stakeholder sees its role and contribution in the whole of product innovation delivery
